My bf is nineteen in july and has never been to the theatre, concert gig or anything. been trying to get tickets to see a open air gig but had no luck. help...?

It all depends on where you are but tis the season for open air gigs. Newcastle/Gateshead are having a free event on the second Bank Holiday Monday in May.

T on the Fringe is happening in August.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are playing at Hampden, in Glasgow, in august aswell......
Metallica are playing at Wembly
Muse are also playing at Wembly.

Try myspace music. Click the shows tab... You can search for local shows (by your zip code). Usually people are surprised by the good stuff they can find locally. It's usually much cheaper too...
