First, take a deep breath and repeat the following to yourself:
This too will pass
:)
Because it will-the one thing you can depend on with babies is that every rough phase will pass and quickly become a distant memory.
Now. Knock off bring her into your bed if you don't want her there. You are just prolonging the inevitable. Every night have a routine. The SAME routine every night. At our house it was bath, boob (breastfed her) and bed.
We had had her in our bed for the first 6 months and it was HARD to break her of it but we did it with consistency and resolve.
She'll cry. Turn off the monitor and turn up the TV. She'll fall asleep, trust me.
Good luck.

My daughter did the same thing. I moved her afternoon nap up a couple of hours. She is also on a schedule. She knows that immediately after bath time, it's time to sleep and she's normaly tired enough not to give me any trouble. I have a certain song I sing as I rock her. When I start singing, she lays her head on my shoulder and is out like a light. Normaly she is asleep by around 8-8:30. That leaves me time for myself before I lay my head down!!!

Your first mistake was putting her in YOUR bed!!! Don't do that any more! Kids go through periods like this all the time. Give her a bath so she is warm and relaxed before you put her down. Try to get her to bed the same time every night. Adjust her nap times in the day. If that doesn't work, then you are just going to have to let her cry it out when you put her to bed. We've all been there, it isn't pleasant, but it won't hurt her a bit! You have to train them to your schedule as much as you can. Don't worry, it will get better!

I had a hard time with my son...he would never sleep long enough. Same thing...wouldn't sleep unless with me.
Take my advice.... you have to seperate yourself......let him cry to sleep..... give him a different comfort. (my son liked to play with the tags on teddy bears until he fell asleep). I know how hard it is (i'm single mom trying to work too.) I wish you luck....stick it out..it'll get better. Don't you wish they came with instruction manuals.

shes learning things everyday now, and everything is new and exciting. I had the same problem around that time. All you can do is be patient and it will pass soon. You will have this problem with every milestone they come to.

Has she crossed any milestones? Learned to Crawl? Said a word? ant life changes? it's not uncommon for sleep to be disrupted after major milestones.
