basically all the modern media is commercial & they have their own, and there country interest so those all information that they provided are acceptable for all world.

They give part of the truth. But what they hold from us is reality.
They are highly censored. On one hand they over-report things (virginia tech, anna nichole)
And on the other hand they under-report things or just simply dont report them at all. ( the truth in Iraq, The corruption of the Bush administration)
The gov't ultimately has control of what you see....sad isnet it?
Thats why there are so many ignorant people in this country, because they beLIEve what the media feeds them.

A commercial media are not controlled by the government, so they do have freedom.
But they are not completely neutral. 1) The owners of the media may have their own agenda. 2) The owners want to make profits, so they own some media that are popular with the audience, even if the owners don't agree with their opinions.

1) it is hard not to have ones personal feelings expressed when reciting the news.
2) I have seen news broadcast in different countries on the same subject - you would be surprised how the new slant can be interrupted
3) One can also pass on news through bad sources and not knowing they are passing around erroneous news.

Define truth.
The whole truth no one is doing that.
If we face the whole truth we find out some of our positions are wrong.
So the media outlets feeds us bits that sell to the audience.
bbc lost it for me when they gave 911 consiparcy theorist the time of day.
