Crystal balls don't work! I had to give mine away at a garage sale.

Sounds like hubby is not an organized person. Sit down and have a calm discussion with hubby and find out why he seems to think you know everything. Is there a possibility you spoiled him by doing everything for him so he doesn't do it for himself?

Or is hubby just totally lost?

If you love him......then work it out. I know it is frustrating but you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Everybody here, including you, are just being too nice. These answers will not solve the problem, just postpone it.
There is only one permanent solution, sell him on E Bay. You'll also get a little money out of the deal.

I used to tell the hubs that if he spent the same amount of time LOOKING that he did ASKING ME, he would be done by now (with whatever he was asking about).

Sip your coffee and say "hmmm".

Oh GOD! Join the club! I mean, how can you lose a DRILL? It's like me losing the VCR, or the microwave.?????
They 'look' for something, which means they just glance in a cupboard and can't 'find' it.
'Man' syndrome, jeez, I'm teaching my two sons differently than THAT!
(And I'll teach my two girls NEVER GET MARRIED!!!)

Tell him to get his *** organized! Buy totes and folders! Can't ask a question if you had it last, and if it's not in the totes and folders! (And hand him a picture of your mother inlaw to remind him who his mother is.. )(and a copy of his license.. to remind him of his age)

Just give him sex, try something perverted.

Afterwards, remind that he is grown and should do things himself. Asking you all these questions is a bit immature. He may not be aware of it.
