Who knows - after all, if we do find that origin of the big bang, we'll just want to know the origin of that.

Even if you accept the thinking of some cosmologists who argue that the Big Bang was "...just an accident" you're still left with the question of where did the possibility of such an accident come from. I contend that it is impossible to leave out some kind of First Cause from any theory about creation.

First of all, evolution is false. Some British freak named Charles Darwin MADE UP the theory, because he was crazy. Evolution has been proven wrong time and again, it just doesn't make sense. Things don't just start from an atom and become the planet Earth, or evolve from a bacteria to a human. PLEASE!! God created the universe, and everything in it, and since He can do anything and everything, we don't need to explain it all.

Religious leaders, regardless of their faith would have you believe that an almighty and supernatural diaety namely God created everything. Scientific accamademics would have you believe in the laws of physics and nature as we understand it.
However both of these claims have over the history of mankind been accepted and rejected many times. The bottom line is this : We as a species just dont know. Perhaps we were never meant to know, some knowlage can be very dangours, look at neuclear developement, on one hand a source of power, on the other, a potential destroyer of mankind and our planet. Religion has caused untold misery and death world wide over the history of mankind, the exact opposite of its intentions. Science has also had its fair share of disasters. Biological war-fare, chemical gas and neuclear leaks. Some questions are best left un-answered, because mankind cant be trusted to be responsable with all the answers at their disposal. There are times when enough is enough.

I do not believe that evolution adequately explains our origins. The theory is shot full of holes. The Big Bang is someone's idea that is far from established fact. After all, they weren't there to witness it.

This is the type of question that has spurred the human spirit for thousands of years. We don't know yet, but there's a place in astrophysics waiting for you to bite into it.
Of course, you can go back to the easy answer of a handy deity laying around, and leave it at that. Rockets and antibiotics come from the first attitude.

It is a highly complex process, that human up to date still not able to understand clearly. However, i was recently told about the new concept on "intelligent design" in my department of geology, which stress that there might be much stronger unknown forces that control the processes on earth, due to a lot of unexplainable occurence. Interesting , but rather paradox! U might wanna check it out.

Major problem here. Mass is formed of electromagnetic energy. (As when a high frequency photon enters near the center of an atom and converts into negative and positive electrons). It can only form into a mass in the presence of an already existing mass. Where did the first mass come from?
The only plausible answer to the beginning of the physical existence of our universe is that God created it.

No one knows. Maybe some day we might. This doesn't mean explain everything on god. I'm not really a religious fan.

everything is made from atoms......i expect that all living matter came from stars as rays of light that changed into plant life through photosynthesis and in turn became earth which was rich and allowed more plantation to flourish and capture more rays of light ......and on and on etc bla bla......as for the big bang i have no ideas on that
