I love Lucy girl but i will tell you that my brother told my sister that one of our uncles had a friend of his that knew of his first cousin who had a really bad attitude and then his ant was talking to her niece about how their brothers mom was tickled pink to get to watch carol burnette. so that summs it up for me....I love Lucy!

Lucy was first and foremost an actress,her Lucy show only brought out another aspect of her talents,Carol Burnette was a comedian,her talent was to make people laugh,the ability to portray different characters in funny situations made her unique,So if it comes to being funny between Lucy or Carol,I would give Carol Burnette the edge

I loved both of those shows. Thanks for the nice memory. I think that Carol Burnette was funnier only because she had a little more artistic license being on a variety show. But I loved them both. I wish there were shows like that on today.

Situation comedy and sketch comedy are two different animals. They both excelled at their art. Who is funnier? Carol Burnett. She was able to play multiple charachters instead of just the one Lucille Ball played.

Lucy is hilarious, but when Carrol Burnett donned that "Gone with the Wind" dress with the curtains, I busted a gut!!!
