This is for the 3rd time I am saying the obvious things.
As I said earlier that Australia shall prevail (be victorious or gain mastery) over Sri Lanka. So, I do not agree with you on this question or premise of yours.
Btw, being a man from this subcontinent I would be happy to see the Sri Lanka win the Cup. But if I have to consider overall performance of this ICC Cricket WC-2007 then the Cup is already in Australian's hand!

I reckon the Aussies will triumph, but would love to see Sri Lanka knock them off their perch.
I just hope it will be a good, close, exciting match, worthy of a final, unlike the semis, which were too one sided.
The Aussies superiority over every other team puts England's loss to them in perspective. I think the criticism of England has been OTT and I'm fed up of listening to Jonathan Agnew's moaning and bleating. After all, the last time Australia lost in an odi was against England!
Whatever happens in the final, I've thoroughly enjoyed this tournament, warts and all.

If murali and vass play well and Malinga can keep it in good line like against New Zealand. Sri Lanka's top order must play well also. Everyone must be in their top of their game or else Australia will win

I hope Sri Lanka. I went there on my holidays couple of years ago, and every piece of spare land the locals had a cricket match going. They deserve it.
