have a feeling that they may give the current aussie team a run for their money.
they have an edge over other teams as they played the game in its true spirit and with a lot of adventure.

I agree with nalakafe. The Best team and the best games i ever seen in Cricket history was Sri Lankan team led by Arjuna Ranathunga, during the year 1996 and they change concept of one day Cricket. If U people don't agree with me, what about if Bangaladesh team won the world cup in 2007, Can u belive it??Sri Lanka team is just like that. still I couldn't belive that they won 1996 world cup, they played most wonderful cricket in history.

Dracula is 100% right. I´m an Aussie who wishes our current time the best of luck in the final.
But man, a team with Lloyd, Richards, Grenidge,Haynes, Gomes, Marshall, Garner etc what a team. These men changed the way cricket was played, they were that good.
Best batsman, best bowlers and best fielders.
This team crushed everyone and still everyone loved to watch them play, they were so exciting.
I´m glad I got the opportunity to watch them play!

The WI team led by Clive Lloyd.
That team had it all, great batsmen, great bowlers, great fielders. Opposition batsmen were scared to face the WI pace bowlers and the WI batsmen were savage on the opposition bowlers.
