Anyway, yes, it just hapened to me the other day. I had my hand about half way up in the air - than I was like "Wait a minute!" I used to do that! LOL

Yes a stranger has honked and waved at me. I just waved back or honked back its just like speaking to someone in the store. Yes a strange has come up to me thinking I was someone else and held a complete conversation until they asked my name and then that's when they realized i was not who they thought I was.

Yes I've had strangers honk and wave. I start drooling and look at them cross eyed and wave back.. every now and then I throw a nose picking episode in the middle of all that too. As for walking up and talking.... I never make eye contact. I act completely stupidly obliviouse! And if that doesn't work I look strait and them when they talk.. look confused then show them my wedding ring and walk off

Yes, some bum in an army suit came up to me at the bus stop the other day, put his hands on my shoulders, and asked if he could buy a cigarette. I said I didn't have any, and after asking everyone else there, he crossed the street walking backwards, pointing to us and making threats that made no sense. I think he was drunk out of his mind.

I provide a grin back. If someone recognizes you, no matter if you comprehend them or not, you ought to continuously well known them back. that is merely being polite. Too a lot of human beings now merely ignore about one yet another, that is each from time to time effective to confirm a grin or be requested "how are you" even no matter if it really is from a stranger.

I was window shopping with my girlfriend and hadn't noticed she'd gone into the shop. I told a complete stranger that he would look good in the dress that was displayed. Fortunately, he had a sense of humour.

Just last night I had a "honk and waver"!! So I waved back with a big smile like "hi how are you" but I had no idea who they were, it's just fun.
