I think this year is a throw away year in a sense. I mean they lost almost the entire offense. Because Weis had two BCS appearances he has earned himself a decent cushion. If he has two seasons of 6 losses then it could cost him his job

properly, if Notre Dame would not want to be held as hypocritical, they might desire to be firing Weis. in many situations you supply a coach til his third season to make certain no rely if to fireside him or not because of fact 0.5 the roster might desire to be his gamers and the gamers might desire to be awareness his gadget. And along with his gamers Weis isnt doing something. He grew to become into doing greater helpful with the Willingham recruits. And opposite to a distinctive answer, Weis grew to become into not Notre Dames first %., city Meyer grew to become into..yet he grew to become them down. If Weis is such an offensive genius, then why won't have the ability to he get something going? the previous few years Notre Dame has had particularly some the magnificent recruiting training. Dont supply me the...he lost his magnificent quarterback, working returned from final 365 days factor the two. Michigan began Henne and Hart 3 years in the past and went to the Rose Bowl. He has been critically out coached this season. Did that one guy call Michigan State an offensive powerhouse? The team that positioned up 3 offensive factors against OSU and 17 against a bad Pitt team? besides, if Notre Dame have been to be consistent of their practices they may be firing Weis at season's end. yet for the reason that whilst is Notre Dame consistent now?

This will be a strange year for us Irish. We do have the #1 QB probably starting as a true freshman. There are alot of holes to fill.
On the other hand, we have fifth year seniors coming back just to play for and help the team. Talk about a belief in a system.
So no, they will not fire Weis.

Notre Dame could win 2 games this year and they wouldn't fire Weiss. However, how good of a coach Weiss, he might leave (despite his contract) for the NFL if they only 6 games. Again, I don't think he will, but he would get a lot by an NFL team.

You're an idiot...Notre Dame is going to contend with USC and Michigan for the national championship behind Jimmy Clausen, the #1 HS QB in the country...

No. Notre Dame will win this year. This will be the first year that we start to see players that Weiss recruited, and his recruiting classes have all been in the top ten. Willingham crippled the talent level of that school.

No, and they will win more than 6 they have the #1 QB (recruiting wise) Jimmy Clausen to replace quinn. Plus (according to Scout.com) last year they had the #5 recruiting class, and this year they have the #11 coming in

Well it is a real risk. After all look at the man before him. I feel bad that I can't place the name. Guy was GRADUATING the players but wasn't winning so he was fired. They only care about winning.
