I don't think it has anything to do with values. Abstinence doesn't work. Those teen abstinence programs have a 80-90% failure rate.

And they don't have those types of programs for adults, know why? Because adults can't stick to them. It's human nature to do the deed and do it often!

Any decision on abstinence depends on the condition that a person finds themselves in. My wife would be very disappointed (I hope) if I practiced abstinence. I would advise a very young person to think very hard before they gave up abstinence. Not so much because of morals but because of the physical and emotional dangers that come with early sex. I do not think that the world should consist of only monogamous people who were pure until marriage. I think there is a time in life for being sexually active before marriage. But I think this should be done in a way that is medically and psychologically non damaging.

Abstinence affects my sexual activity a lot: I don't have as much interest in sexual activity as I used to. Since I also have a liver disease, abstinence is the best thing for my body too. !!!

Abstinence got nothing to do with religion.

Sexual Activity is about choice and knowing who your partner is and practice of safe sex !

To have or not to have sex is a choice !

I'm married so abstinence would be detrimental to my way of life.

Otherwise my value system is very good.

It doesn't at all. I don't think that there is anything wrong with having sex before marriage. The only way that it would be wrong is if I were to force myself upon someone or to pressure her into it. If it is consensual and for the right reasons, there is nothing wrong with it.

I have to like the guy before I consider sex with him.
Then he's glad I said yes.

It works this way. I abstain when I have no opportunities. I partake when I do.

The only value I place on sex is how good it can be and should be always.
