Watch the Democrats debate 10 months prior to the convention?

*yawn*

The freaking Red Wings game and the Pistons game were on! And you want me to watch a nutjob, a corrupt liar, a corrupt populist lawyer and a cypher debate over how much they hate conservatives?

Let me know if they actually say something they haven't been saying for the past 3 years.

I agree, but I did not watch it for two reasons.

#1 - I have a hard time remembering what I hear. I learn and remember better if I read something. I figure the transcripts of the debate will be available online and can read them.

#2 - The election is far off, I'd rather wait and let the Democrats narrow down their candidates, so I have less people to study.

And as of this morning, I'm glad I didn't watch. From the reports I've seen, it looks like all they did was pat each other on the back and attack/bash Republicans in general and President Bush in particular.

You call those debates? When the candidates are not only thrown "softball" questions they get to review the questions well in advance to the debates so they have their "answers" before the debate even starts. And that's true of all Presidential debates. There a sham, just like everything else in American politics.

Yes I agree that we need to know who we will be running against. No I did not watch last night. I am waiting for the herd to thin. All the same propaganda being spouted out in such a small arena with no defense is nauseating.

I didn't. I can't vote in Democratic primaries anyway,y so how would it help to watch the debate? Now, once the parties nominate candidates, THEN I start watching the debates.

You cons always say the same things when you debate libs anyhow, so I don't see how watching it would stop you from your standard schtick of "Those godless commies liberals hate America."

I really don't believe many of you cons are interested in a productive debate.
