A woman from the Help Desk is retiring. In her card I wrote "If this card doesn't work for you, try shutting it and opening it again'.
(that was her advice for any computer problems)

I think it's a 'very good joke' ... and 'appropriate' because the woman was on the Help Desk. My husband is a Web Developer, but has done work in the Help department and his 'very small' company of 200 people still has those who don't seem to be able to 'reboot' or 'restart' without someone on the Help Desk telling them to do it ... and in EXACT and DETAILED language. That's not Cruel -She probably spent the biggest part of her time giving stupid lame advice half the time.
