It costs $25m to visit inner-space now and in a hundred years that will still be mighty expensive. Who will be issuing the visas? I wonder if immigrants will be allowed in? um.......Does this mean the "meek shall inherit the earth", or whatever is left of it?

Yes, it is doomed, eventually. But not in our lifetime, or for many millions of years. The sun will eventually burn out and become a red giant, which will swallow the earth in its size, before again after many millions of years, the whole lot shrinks back to a white dwarf.

You exaggerate.

All things die. Even the Earth will end some day, but that day will be millions of years in the future. Nobody can say who will issue visas in a million years.

The Earth is doomed. Its a statistical fact. Eventually, one of a number of things will happen to Earth that will either destroy it or destroy the life on it (GRB's, Asteroid impact, rogue black holes, comet impact, solar expansion, etc..). But in order to live in space, we would have to start scrapping buildings and use those materials. We would need a space station of immense size to actually support life on its own.

why are you worried about the expenses? Don't you know people can't goto other planets or places outside earth to live in the near future. I don't think much progress will be done in astronomy in 100 years so I request you not to bother about it
