why is sun cream so expensive?

its about £10 per bottle which seems so stupid because experts and adverts constantly tell us to wear sun cream.its too expensive!! do you think the price will ever come down?...and why is it this expensive in the first place?

I agree, it shouldnt be so expensive. But the store brands do work just as well. I usually buy Ocean Potion at Walmart, its pretty cheap(well it is at walmart anyway, not sure how much it costs at drug stores) and it smells really good. It works just as good as the expensive brands.

i don`t mind paying the money for a good lotion...i`d rather pay more for something that works, than waste my money on something that doesn`t...but i`m talking about tanning bed lotions, that is...i use about 3 bottles a month, & more during the summer because i use the indoor tanning bed lotion for my outdoor tanning as well...i can easily spend upwards of $200 a month for lotion, depending on the brand i use...but for me it`s worth it, to get the color i want & to get the brands that give me the moisturizing benefits as well

Sun Cream is made from Sun Milk that comes from Sun Cows on the Sun. That's why it's so expensive! Duh!

its expensive so that poorer people wont be able to afford it... that way all the poor people will die from malignant melanoma and the world will be a better place.

It doesn't have to be.....we have generic store brands here and they are cheap.....
