I don't think so.
In the USA, there is enough food and other commodities for everyone to have what they need--not necessarily all we want, though.

Do you mean 'is it inevitable that there will be poor people in our society'? If so, yes. Any capitalist system will have a certain people who simply cannot compete and end up living below the poverty line. It's the nature of a competitive economic system.

Poverty does not have to be inevitable in our society, but with the current attitude it is. There is plenty of wealth in our society for everyone, if we looked at things differently. There is just no reason that some people should have more money than they know what to do with. People that just keep building up wealth and passing it on to their kids so that the kids don't have to do anything for their whole life except what they want, and they will still die with more money than they started with. These wealthy trust fund brats are just as useless as welfare brats you know. No, we don't have to have poverty, but we will.

Yes, for many reasons.
1)Lack of an education
2)Lack of skills
3)Not all labor is valued at the same rate (IE I pay my plumber more than the pizza delivery person)
4)Person inability or desire to save money.
5)Foolish purchases.
6)Poor interpersonal skills
7)Lack of desire to succeed.
There are many reasons for poverty, and it will never be eliminated in capitalist society, even in communist society you have rich and poor people, its just the way things are.

Some people are pauper not poor. Even with lots of money feel poor.It is a atype of disease. Some people are poor because of their inability and unwillingness to change their habituated way of living. Some people are poor because of lack of scope and ways to be rich.
