i want to learn how to do a emo scream?

Question

id like to learn how to do emo scream like red jumpsuit , the used, hawthorne heights, or bullet for my valentine....its always been somethin ive wanted to learn and my friend has a band so id like to put it to use...if anyone has anything that would help me get a emo scream- not a heavy metal/ death metal type of scream - id appreciate it

Screaming 101: Like singing, scream from deep down in your diaphragm instead of from your voicebox. It will produce a richer, fuller, less shrill scream. Also, I find it helps to actually practice screaming at regular intervals, so find a nice spot with no one around and let 'er rip!

i have a few guy friends that scream in bands. some are only screamed& vocals other are throat&gridecore. the ones with the harder more metal screams have only become so good because they have first practiced how to scream normally. there is no other way around it just to start practice screaming. it might not come naturally at first, but like playing an instrument you have to learn. good luck! :D i'm one of the people who appreciate gooood vocals.

all i can say is take a big shot of honey to coat your throat and so you can do it longer, and just let it rip. im not sure its something someone can teach you. but when you do it, push like hell from you gut!!!! i have a friend who does the metal scream and i have tried it.. its hard as hell to do
