Honestly, I think the secret is to never let yourself act your age. My grandma, God rest her soul, never acted like an old lady. She was lively and spry with a touch of attitude right up through her 80's, and she lived to be 88, and she was healthy and youthful-looking pretty much right up to the end. I know some 40-year-olds with one foot in the grave, and I know some 75-year-olds who are traveling all over the world. It's all in your head. LIVE!!!

Go not quietly into that good night
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Grow old along with me
the best is yet to be
the last of life, for which the first was made.

These are but fancy ways of saying, "screw this aging gracefully crap."

Seriously, you just have to live until you die, and never stop trying new things. Keep a youthful attitude, but don't try to imitate young people. They're usually stupid anyway.

Read the Perricone Promise or the Perricone Prescripton by Dr. Perricone. Great Books!

Cant get into all the details about it but one of the things that stuck out was to cut out sugar (about 30 days) Because sugar makes the skin sag, making us to look older.

He was on Oprah and he had about seven middle-aged women do the 30 day Perricone plan where they cut out sugar, drank 8 glasses of water everday, and added anitoxiadants like salmon and blueberries, and replaced coffee with green tea.

30-days later they looked notcieably better without surgery.
Not sure how often to do the 30 cycle, but I'm sure the book will explain.

Be at peace with yourself and your life.
Accept your lot in life
Enjoy who, what you are
Be content in and around your existance
Don't "expect' thisgs, accept what comes your way and deal with it
Don't stress the petty stuff
Live each day to the fullest extent possible
Return to simpler ways away from the hustle and bustle of life.
And accept the fact that although your getting up in age at least your still living!
Have fun every day!
Laugh every day
Eat well every day
Try new things at least once a week!

Age gracefully - heck NO!!!!

The older you get the more you find to enjoy!!

Don't settle down to moulder get out there and do it - live life to the full. Don't watch - take part. Don't comment or complain - get out there and debate.

You only get one life - contribute - enjoy - go out with a bang not a whimper!!!

Ignore it as much as you can - and don't dwell on what you can't ignore - strive to be a decoration to the lives of others, not a burden - hold to the interests and values you have learned, but seek to explore whatever new ones you can. Avoid saying to younger folk "when I was young", except for information of real interest rather than criticism of them or their world. Wear bright, suitable clothes, take pride in yourself, and whatever spring you can manage in your step, and always a sparkle in your eyes and smile. It is the responsibility of the old to reassure the young that growing old, though eventually fatal, is not a disaster!

Don't get a toupee. Don't have plastic surgery. Don't buy a Harley or a Corvette. Don't dump your long-time spouse for someone 20 years younger than you are. In other words, accept where you are in life and be proud of yourself. And have fun for fun's sake, not because you think it makes you seem younger to other people.

From inside out. Not from outside in!
You gotta live healthfully. Eat things like fish and tea. No pop. Exercise.
No plastic surgery. Don't colour your hair. And honest to peat, don't use those ridiculous face creams who claim to reduce fine lines and all this crap.
I think people who are in denial about the lines and try to hide them look older and worse then people who embrace every stage of their life and LIVE!

Live a life of integrity and dignity. Never lose your sense of humor. Accept that which you cannot change.
