There may be a couple more that come out but I think most of the candidates who are going to run have already come out.

Luckily, you can wait out the primaries if you want and then just vote in the general elections if you wish. That way you only have 2 major candidates to pick between (Republican and Democratic). Though the primaries are a great place to make sure that your voice is heard for the party of your choice, so that you aren't stuck with a red herring when the general elections come around.

Fred Thompson will probably run. Al Gore might run, but it's a longshot. You've got several months, so here's my advice.
1) Decide what YOU want America to be like.
2) Research the issues to determine which ones will impact Question #1 and which options on those issues support your answer.
3) Research the candidates and figure out which ones hold the most opinions that would support your choices in Question 2.
4) Vote for that candidate, even if all the pundits say he has no chance to win.

With more than a year left before the Presidential election....I think you'll have more than enough time to decide. And it doesn't matter how many canidates throw their hat into the ring, only 1 republican and 1 democratic candidate will be chosen. If an Indie runs, then you'll have 3 candidates to pick from instead of 2...

O'Blamma &/or Mrs. Bill Clinton being in office (Of any kind) is a truly disturbing thought, on so many levels
I know that Fred Thomson is the best choice.
Straight talk.
Common Sense.
Real solutions.
An actual Conservative. In fact, he reminds me allot of Our greatest President, Ronald Reagan.
And we could really use someone like that, again.
I truly hope he is elected as our next president.

I'd vote Dem but that's just me. I think you might see a few more hats in the ring on both sides but a lot of people who get in late are "keep the front runners honest" candidates. So i'm afraid you might be stuck with the field basicly as it is.

No. I think the obvious choice would be to vote for John McCain. He possesses the ability and strong will to make decisions for the better with a significantly positive outcome. He is very, very smart and does not let politics cloud or sway his decision making.

You have plenty of time left to do the reseach and find the differences in each candidate.. but it is all for nothing anyways.. they do what they damn well please when they get the power, regardless of their beliefs or stated objectives that got them that position.. might as well throw a dart before you head out to vote...
