Perhaps something that relates to you. Have something you want to get off your chest? An ex that has pissed you off? Anything and everything can be turned into a song with the right amount of talent.

The best thing to write about would be exactly what you're feeling at the moment. Writing a song is an art unless you're going to write about parties, girls & stuff. Put more feeling in the lyrics, write about anything you have in your heart. Finding a topic isn't that easy or that hard. You just have to find one, and the rest i mean writing it down needs more care & good verses.

They say there is nothing that a poet, writer or painter fear the most but a piece of blank paper.

Think on love, pain, anger anything, and look inside of yourself and you will hear the "tin tin" giving you the sing of inspiration. Do not force it, it will get to you.

I have the title "Help me to write a song", and you can talk about all the "feelings" and themes the Yahoo user gave you, and talk in how everybody has their own inspiration.
Men, write about anything, even anything is something.
