Just a very small amount of food twice a day. Give them what they can eat up in about 2-3 minutes.

I'm going to assume you mean Danios and say that they best way to feed them is it put a tiny amount in and let them eat it. They will gobble it up rather quickly and then add a tiny bit more. As quick as they are you will notice that there will be one time when they seem to go after it a little slower than the previous times. That is when you should stop. This seems like a slow process but it will help you to know how much to feed them without creating excess waste. It will really only take about 5 minutes or so. Remember it is actually better to leave them a little bit hungry than to have too much food in the tank. I would only feed them about once a day.

I have six and just give them a tiny pinch (about half the size of a dime) twice a day. No food gets left to break down on the bottom of the tank.

Twice a day and each time, roughly the amount of food the size of their eye. This will help to keep the tank clean as well without having to "clean out" uneaten food.
