I have had clients who've used esacpe currency with no problems whatsoever.

They are one of the few companies who will offer same day clearance even on large amounts. They will also fix the rate for you for up to 18 months so that can be quite an advantage when buying property say in the USA right now as you'd get a great rate for your pound!

I think I'm right in saying that they don't charge commision either, although I'm sure that will be recouped somehow in the rate they give you, and there is some sort of transfer charge which I think is around £15.

No but i have used HIFX recently there is also currencies direct but depends on what ammount you are wanting to change over, sounds daft but have you tried your bank, i know hsbc are offering some good deals at the mo

I don't have escape money, but always keep 50€ in my purse for emergencies
