If your asking (by going down to the auto parts store) and buying a new cap, rotor, spark plugs/wires-prices are different for each vehicle. Norm: anywhere from $20-50 for wires, cap and rotor $10-15, spark plugs $8-20 etc.. all depends on brand and choice you choose and which store has the sales. If your looking for price for someone else to do it, they will add labor and extra for parts.

Depends on the make model and year of the car.
If you go to an auto parts store it is very reasonable to do it yourself, some auto parts store folks are even kind enough to give you pointers, just be careful of hot engine parts as they will cause severe burns.
Best to let the car cool with the hood open for an hour or two before doing the plugs and wires.

I'd like to know the answer to this for a 1993 Honda Accord and I'm talking about the labor only. I went and bought the parts. The guy that was going to do it told me what I needed to get. He told me he'd replace them for $100 labor. I thought that was fair so I agreed. Then 5 minutes later, when he got there to do it, he raised it to $200. Tried to tell me it would cost me an avg of $300 to get it done at a shop. I told him I don't think so and asked him to leave. I just want to be sure I did the right thing, my gut said he was trying to take advantage of me.
