The pressure exerted by the atmosphere is present on our body. We donot feel it because its counteracted upon by the blood pressure created by the blood circulation iside our body. this neutralizes the compressive effect of the atmospheric pressure and thus we donot feel it.

We dont feel the atmopheric pressure on us because our body produces a certain amount of pressure too which it tries to make equal with its surrounding. This is why people feel their ears hurt or their nose bleed when they are in an aircraft. Their body tries to control the pressure but the pressure becomes too much. And the more you fly the more your body gets adapted to it. So the more you fly the less it would hurt / bleed. P.S . Did you know that the atmospheric pressure on earth is 1 kilogram per centimeter square. Well ! Its true you know?

We feel but not aware of this since we are accustomed to it. If you go under water you will feel the pressure since it will be more than atmospheric pressure.

You can also go and feel this at high altitudes and immediately find breathing extremely difficult and all movement will be very slow.Go to Ladakh or climb Everest you can feel that.

We do, its factored into weight. But the gasses in the atmosphere dont have much mass, so the pressure created isnt big enough in magnitude to crush life.

Because the pressure is applied to both the inside and outside of our bodies thus balancing the forces.

We do. It's why your ears pop when you change altitude quickly. Differing air pressure inside and outside your Eustachian tubes has to be equalized by swallowing or yawning, thus either relieving or increasing the internal pressure.

Because you body is pressurized to the same pressure, your entire body not just your blood.

We all do.

When we get older.

The main reason for not noticing it is, that the pressure is almost constant, it fluctuates slightly in my area it is about 29 to 30 inches of Mercury (14.0 psi minimum to 15.5 psi maximum approximately) . Most of the time, in our case we get use to it so we do not feel it.

As we get older our bones get thinner(in most cases), so even slight change in pressure, causes pain, my wife and I both can predict the rain coming few hours before it rains, from the amount of pain, due to the drop in pressure.

Some young people can feel this also.

Next time you see your doctor ask him/her see what is the answer and ask for explanation.

it is because our blood pressure is higher than the atmospheric pressure
