I am going on a date with a guy 4 years older than me. We are going to dinner (not sure where), playing putt-putt and possibly watching a movie. Its only in the 40s here. I dont know what to wear. Any suggestions?

Wear jeans and a really cute top (one that has both dressy and casual elements, like flowy sleeves or a longer tunic length) and some comfy, low-heeled, but strappy, cute sandals (make sure your toes are painted nice!)... This is a simple, casual look that's not TOO casual and nice enough for dinner depending on where he is taking you. But seeing as how you are playing putt-putt golf, the look I described above seems to fit BOTH activities.

Keep your makeup fresh and simple. Wear your hair half-up/half down so that hair is out of your face when you are lining up your putting shot and it won't stick to your lipgloss.

:)

Have FUN!!

I know that jeans may be comfortable for the occasion, but you have mentioned that the gentleman is four years older - he might be more inclined to dress 'professional casual'. Becuase you are going to dinner too, I would put on a nice pant suit, or dark slacks with a nice sweater and some classy boots (not too high since you are doing putt putt golf) Dazzle your hair with some colored ribbons and spash on some nice cologne. Be sure to smile a lot and compliment your date. Have a good time.

first off....how cute!! that is such a sweet and fun date.
Well it sounds like this date is gonna be pretty casual, so I would definitely stick to jeans, which can still be sexy if you wear the right pair. Then maybe a cute sweater with a nicer shirt underneath, and some little flats, would be awesome. Wear some fun funky jewelry, and you are good to go!!
good luck :)

Wear something very comfortable, like a sweater or you know. Don't try to show too much skin cause most guys don't like that. Go for comfort. And remember to keep mint in ur purse. Don't order expensive food cause he might be scared and don't oredr cheap food either cause he will think that you think he's cheap.

Nice jeans, ballet shoes, cute long sleeve tee, (maybe in a floral pattern?) and a funky purse! Keep jewelry and make-up simple. You don't want to have distractions because your earring is stuck in your hair or something. Speaking of hair, keep it down.
