With the price of gold today, melt it and sell the raw gold. You will probably get more back for it than what you paid. Just be sure the divorce is forever and that you aren't acting purely on negative emotion. Once it is destroyed, there is no turning back.
I was dumb, I gave mine to my ex wife and said if she ever decided to love me again all she had to do was put it back on my finger. That was 10 years ago.. oh well :)

If it is just a band you are only going to get the gold value of it and that is not much. If it has a diamond in it you could turn it into a drop or necklace. My wife did that with her ring from her first marriage. It doesn't bother me at all, though she offered to sell it if it did. I told her not to worry about it because I still have things from my first wife.

Depends on what type of band it is. If it's just a plain gold one, you won't get much at all for it. Even if you scrapped it, you'd need more than one piece of jewelry to get a decent amount of money.
If it's a fancy one, try any jewelry store or even, as other users suggested, sell it on ebay.
Other than that, maybe you could save it for one of your kids.

Depending on how bad the divorce was, as a gesture toward the person who you once shared something special with, I would give the ring back to your ex-spouse.

i'm not trying to be mean but you should go sell it @ a jewelry store that will but it or you can also trade it in from something for your daughter or you can take out the diamonds and melt it down to make something else, maybe a gift for your mom or daughter. there are alot of choices.

chase it is tough to get what you paid for it back, any where really, you might try ebay and have a opening bid that you will not sell it for less than......other than that, the news paper can sometime work but costs you money to place the ad.....I saved mine in a jar of sugar.....(packets) don't ask me why...I could not tell you.

Keep it in a drawer to help you remember all the good times you had with your spouse.
Don't ever forget the good times you had.
They over power the bad times.
Hope i could help.
Much love.
