I think a C610, from Dell has a ratheon card in it. I am not sure, but you probably have a PIII in it.

If its gaming, well P3 play most. If its the DVD playing, you might want to get a external DVD Drive.

But just so you know, a P4 laptop cost about 300 bucks now Got some on Ebay.

If the c610 is not playing your video right, you can try this, Max out the Ram, I think a Gig. That will make a big diffrence. Also, get your harddrive up to at least 60 or 80gig. Your computer will go a lot faster, and run smoother.

But, if you decrease the resolution down, you will see the games will run right. To the lowest setting.

The easy answer is "No".

The video card on the Lat c610 is actually an add-on (not soldered to the motherboard), but you will be hard-pressed to find a retailer who sells anything better.

Also, working on a laptop is MUCH different than working on a desktop. I'd leave it to a trained professional (Dell Certified tech).

I think your best bet here is to call Dell and ask them. Sometimes you can sometimes you can't. They'll have the specs for your machine and be able to tell you pretty quickly if it's possible and for how much.

No, laptop video is built-in to most laptops.
