Nobody in office now will lower your taxes. We need to rise up and throw ALL the bums out, dems and repubs and start over and not allow career politicians anymore. 1 term limit for ALL goverment jobs, judges included.

The short answer is that Republicans typically reduce the Federal income tax. However, the other concern is whether you - actually pay less. Less money coming in means that states and localities need money from other sources, which would be you.

It's clear that the income tax structure in the US is broken. Before you decide that lower taxes is your answer, look to see where all of your tax dollars are going. (not making a judgement here, just a statement)

Obviously the Republicans favor lower taxes, for EVERYONE.

There may be other issues to consider - whether we will have the money we need for the programs we have, or whether we even need all those programs - but I cannot remember a time when Democrats wanted lower taxes than Republicans. For ANY income bracket.

no one is really going to lower your taxes it is a sham a vote building scam the president is barely even involoved and even if the new one really trys to lower taxes it will be held up by so much politacl red tape it wont happen for 3 years and then it will be almost time for a new election and the next guy will raise them taxes are not ajustable as far as being lowered by policy it is not going to happen dont put your trust in a polliticion you could trust a states man saddly there arent any , any more some one whos view is for the people and to love and protect their intressts instead of their own gain some one who looks out for the princaples that are our founding and grounding the party vote wont help you you will have to vote for a man with real values and intgrity dem or rep does not matter it never did that to is a sham you have to really know the issues and whather or not the men on the block are really intressed in keeping to them

If the Repubs are in control of the White House then you won't see any tax break unless you are in that upper 5% of income earners. If the Dems are in control I do not think anyone will see much of a tax break for years to come because they are committed to trying to balance the budget after this administration has raped it. The deficits Bush has created will take years to get under control.

The income tax is unconstitutional--the 16th Amendment was never really ratified.

Having the Federal Department of Education, Homeland Security, etc., is unconstitutional--these need to be abolished.

I'd vote for Ron Paul or someone who recognizes these facts. Getting rid of this crap means more take home pay!

no one is going too. Both side will say that they are going to lower taxes or give tax break to people but in the long run the US government can't afford to cut taxes you probably will see taxes rise in the future. The government waste to much money and send other countries aid when they need it but they will not help out our own country

Well with $400 billion going toward a war and extreme deficit spending dont' expect it to decrease anytime soon. If we do, it will actually have negative impacts on the future economy.
