every year since we declared 'war on terror', or that the US has now lost more people to the Iraq war than in 9/11?
Many of US citizens are ignorant of these facts and I'm interested in seeing if you guys are aware of these facts?

do search on 'number of terror attack by year' You'll find the evidence.
Also, re: US attacks? Over 3,300 US soldiers are dead by 'terrorist' tactics (according to the right). So, Yes, terrorists have attacked US since 9/11. We just made it easy for them by bringing the victims to their back door. Deal with it.

The Bush administration has never understood that by going to war against Iraq, they lost all credibility in their so called war against terror. Afghanistan had broad international political support, but the "coalition of the willing" in Iraq never had anything to do with terrorists and everything to do with the "Hawks" agenda of making the USA the world's unilateral policeman.
The transparency of this folly gave the terorists the opportunity to legitimise their argument against the USA and build a larger support base.
The only way to win the war against terror is to win the hearts and minds of the people who would support terrorism.
Take away their support, and they lose the ability to raise funds and recruits.
There will probably always be a threat from terrorism to some degree, but using a big stick will never reduce the verocity of teir attacks.

Yes, to the rest of the world, looks like all the terror attacks on US targets were for one reason and one reason only. That was to enable a Yankee President to declare war on the Islamic world community. The reason that no further attacks have happened on the American mainland is that there never was any chance of such an attack and the whole thing was staged along with the demolition of the twin towers which was obviously by explosive charge, otherwise how did the buildings collapse from the bottom as the fire was at the top?

Really? And how many attacks have we had on US soil? "crickets."
Youre going to compare one days tragic civilian loss do to a terror attack compared to a 4 year long military operation? What kind of ignorant analysis is that? Why dont you try comparing apples to apples and compare this military operations loss of life to other military operations that have gone on this long. Youll find that we havent lost a fraction of the troops we did in previous wars.
Im interested in seeing just how united and strong we could be if liberals were more patriotic and not constantly trying to undermine our war efforts and our foreign policy.

At the beginning a few journalists challenged the bogus notion of declaring war on a concept. A few years on, that phrase gets bandied about like it's a legitimate aim, even though its vacuous reality ensures it can never be 'won'.
i.e. you cannot bomb people into democracy, into peace, into freedom
the rhetoric is astounding in its distortion
but, it seems, enough are taken in by it

After being adored for decades Americans are hated. The American politicians have to fight here and there to hide the decline in the American economy after the growth in China And Europe. They gather the Americans as a national project. They steal the Glf Countries wealth pretending to protect them. This will not last for long. The American poor citizens lose a lot as G.W. Bush is a narrow minded person.

Of course they have. First, terrorists know that their actions will be covered by a western press that has a certain level of sympathy for what they consider the underdog. Second, anytime victims fight back bullies escalate their behavior until they are blooded enough to stop. I suppose we could prevent all terror attacks if the US military were to destroy Israel, if our intelligence agencies were to search out and kill every Jew on the planet, if we were to take our daughters out of school, throw bed sheets over the heads of our women, bow to mecca five times a day, and renounce science, progress, and humanity in the name of allah. Do you really think it would be worth it just so we wouldn't have to take out a few million islamofacists?

So the FACTS bear out that the war is a failure? Someone needs to let George Bush know.I'm certain he'd end if he only knew -wouldn't he?
He's probably so busy teaching Gonzales how to not recall everyday basic items that he's overlooked this little problem.

Yes, and more Frenchmen died during the German attack than after they surrendered, too.
More Americans died (and Japanese attacks increased, too!) in the war following Pearl Harbor than died at Pearl Harbor, too.
Hmmm.. is there a pattern there?
We're not ignorant of the facts, it's just that throwing them out there without context or comment doesn't mean anything.

I've been stating in my replys that Bush/Cheney have killed more Americans than 9/11 had -- not to mention the Iraqi civilians that have died, in the 10s of thousands.
Of course, you really don't know your physics if you think the Towers 'burned' down. The fires in the Towers were not as big, hot, or long-lasting as fires in steel-frame high-rises that have not induced collapses. In 1991, a fire in Philadelphia burned for 18 hours; in 2004, a fire in Caracas burned for 17 hours. But neither fire produced even a partial collapse.
The World Trade Center’s north and south towers burned only 102 and 56 minutes, respectively, before they collapsed. WTC 7, moreover, had fires on only a few floors, and was NOT struck by an airplane.
Two professors of structural analysis and construction at Zurich's ETH Institute of Technology say that WTC 7 was "with the highest probability brought down by explosives."
