What is spoonerism and where can I find stories written in this way? Anyone know any stories..?
I heard long ago someone tell the story "Little Red Riding Hood" in this manner and it was great! Would like more info...PLEASE!

Another is that on leaving Oxford for a holiday he announced to his students that he was 'off to the station to catch the town drain' (down train)

A spoonerism is a phrase where the first letters of words are reversed, often in a humorous way. They were named for a Reverend Spooner who was noted for reversing things this way. A famous one of his (to a lady in his church) was:
Madam, you are occupewing the wrong pie. (occupying the wrong pew).
