I would talk with your mom & see what she has done, that worked for her. I gather this is a regular occurrence for you.
I would make an apt. with your doc. & see what's going on.

I had this problem for over a year until i saw my gynecologist just last week. I used to get my periods every two weeks and it would last from one to two weeks. She put me on birth control and it seems to be working. My mom was a little worried at first because I am only sixteen and she didn't want me to get any ideas, if you know what I mean. But the doctor made it clear to me that if I did become sexually active that I may need to be put on something stronger. That's just my opinion. Hope it helps!

You could have iron-defencey*anemia...please go see your doctor.I have the same problems...the first time I had it I ended up having several blood transfusions because my hemoglobin was really low(should be around 13-15)mine was about 6. I'm 27 now and have had 17 units. I would not want you to go through that. Not only is it scarey but it hurts. I wish you well.

length does not rely, i think of this is purely anybody is distinctive. i'm skinny as fck, i'm purely a hundred pounds and that i'm 15 and 5"5 that's underweight and that i'm a thin little athletic twig lol and my era is heavy, i think of this is all in what you consume or some thing, each each now and then your era may be gentle each each now and then this is heavy it relies upon on the excercise you do this month, and what you consume, and so on

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.
In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/eR3LF

hiya, my freind had the same problem with heavy periods and very bad period pains, however you dont mention having pain though. my freind went to her gp, and the gp prescribed her with contraception pills (allthough she was single and a virgin!). Contraception pills help reduce your periods and pain, infact once your on them your periods go very light and dont last very long either, plus you would be totally free of pain. so try and talk to your gp, for some pills maybe.

Visit your GP/Nurse, they will be able to help you, sometimes they may ask you if you would mind taking the contraceptive pill as this can lighten the flow of the period, and the symptoms.
Good luck!

Unless you are interested in getting pregnant, get a Mirena IUS. I had horrendous periods that went on for weeks at a time and it stopped them within two days.
Marvellous thing.

There are medications to help reduce the amount of the blood flow....ask you're doctor for more info though, i'm not entirely sure what it's called (used to be on it but forgot what the name is)
Good Luck : )
