If you mean sail on a ship try searching for cargo ships and passengers in google and you will get this http://www.google.com.au/search?q=passenger+cargo+ship&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a. Many ships carry a few paying passengers. I am not sure about shipping a car. We drive on the left hand side of the road, so driving a US car would be inconvenient.
If you mean sail a yacht head roughly east south east for a few thousand miles.

i got here across a sparkling place in Sydney called 'The Sanctuary' its a effective pub/bar that's enormous, sparkling and sparkling with yummy fod and particularly clever expenditures, its in simple terms commonplace stuff, risotto, pasta, steak, and so on yet its variety of like being waiting to bypass out for an outstanding meal with out paying a whopping fee for it - its in Liverpool street, variety of neat the Spanish club. conversing of Spanish, I loooove Casa Asturiana, in simple terms close to the Sanctuary and characteristic stunning Tapas.. additionally, attempt Newtown for a good variety of inexpensive to expensive eats, we've been given a dinner party for 4 at a place called Tamanas on magnificent, its BYO wine too so as that cuts down the fee...there have been 4 individuals, we had a 2 direction meal (lots of dishes!) and occasional, with corkage on 2 bottles of wine and a tip we basically spent $30 each!

I agree with the previous replier. Most cargo/freight ships carry a few paying passengers. One company that comes to mind is Nedlloyd (?sp).
If you mean by sail boat and you don't know where to look ... i'd think again about sailing that far.
