My six-year-old dripped some jelly from her PB&J on my keyboard. I was able to wipe off the surface but it got under some of the keys. Is there any way to clean it out?

I wouldn't power on your keyboard until you get this problem fixed. Pop open your keyboard, there should either be clamps or screws on the side or bottom. You'll have to clean the jelly off with some diluted rubbing alcohol and let it sit till it dries. Anything sugar based can really ruin a keyboard.

if it's a keyboard you are attached to, you can take it apart and clean it. the buttons will pop off if you pry them up with a butter knife. the space bar is not as easy though, so i would pry that up unless you have to, It's a Chinese puzzle getting it back in and working right. My wife does this to her keyboard all the time, she's kind of an expert at it. Me, I'd just go to Walmart and get a replacement for $8-10 but that's just me.

You have to take the Keyboard apart, wipe with a very slightly damp cloth, maybe just a damp cloth; Then let the Keyboard dry and put it back together. Basically, not worth it, but it is do-able.

Sure, you can write down where each key is, then remove them by carefully prying them up and removing them. then clean the keyboard out and also the keys.
Then carefully replace the keys
