Two of my kids have a form of autism called PDD-NOS (pervasive developmental delay, not otherwise specified). One has mercury and aluminum poisoning, and my son has aluminum poisoning. We measured this in their hair, urine and blood. My older daughter with mercury poisoning and symptoms got shots with mercury as a baby before this was removed. I also got a flu shot containing mercury while I was pregnant. My young son is no longer autistic after treatment to remove aluminum (zinc supplements, elimination of aluminum in diet and melatonin). Both of my affected children became autistic overnight...stopped speaking completely for several weeks, not gradually as autistic specialists try to convince parents, my son stopped smiling, laughing, saying mama and cheering when his dad came home from work all the morning after he received shots at 15 months, coincidentally the most common time for children to develop symptoms of autism. My son was discharged by all of his therapists within 2 weeks of when we began treatment for aluminum poisoning; none of his therapists had ever seen a child recover so well or so quickly. They have shared this info with other parents, and so far, of 20 children tested, 18 have been found to have aluminum poisoning as well, and some also had mercury poisoning. This really does happen.

As the other poster indicated, autism was diagnosed back in the 1940s. I disagree with the poster that claims the criteria changed. There really is an increase in the numbers of children with autism. There is no proof of the cause, but it has been found that most cases begin prenatally. The cause is likely environmental, with some folks more susceptible than others. In addition, it is also likely to be multiple causation. A brain injury (caused by illness) in a toddler appears to sometimes have the same result.
My youngest brother has Aspergers syndrome, but he also has a spectrum of mental disorders likely caused by a medication my mother was taking before she knew she was pregnant. My cousin's GF has 3 autistic children (different fathers). Two of her children never had vaccines until school age, but were clearly autistic.
Did your child get into old mercury switches? Or farm fertilizers? I can't imagine any other way for a child today to get severe mercury poisoning!

There is research going back to the 1940's on autistic children. The criteria for the autism spectrum of disorders has been lowered. Meaning kids that were once considered learning disabled are now labeled as autistic, so the number of kids that we're referring to as autistic has gone up, but the actual cases of autism has not increased at all.
No dear, it's not because of mercury exposure. There is no CAUSE that has been determined yet, which is why there is so much money being poured into research. There is NO evidence citing mercury, or preservatives in immunizations, or mature sperm as the cause of autism or other pervasive developmental disorders, either. It would be very easy to blame one particular thing, but there is not any one thing to blame.
There are studies that indicate men over 40 are more likely to have an autistic child. How many men over 40 are fathering children now?? With women having babies well into their late 40's and men fathering children into their 50's & 60's it could be a great deal of the autistic kids have older dads. But not all of them do, so what else causes it? We're not sure.
I can tell you it can't be blamed on any one thing yet. The cause is unknown. There are cases of autism where no mercury is eaten and immunizations are not used. There are cases when the father is 20 years old, not over 40. There is no common thread.

hi. I examine the comments you've gotten and my opinion will be extremely diverse than maximum. If there grow to be a treatment for autism day after today, i might want to desire it. that is why: the positives that I affiliate with having Asperger Syndrome (a.ok.a. severe-functioning autism), which include my writing capacity and commonplace creativity are smothered with the negatives. i might want to gladly commerce my creativity for the chance now to not have sound controlling my existence. i trust one has to furnish with a view to get from time to time. The sacrifices i have had to make my finished existence for the negatives is worse than if I were to commerce my creativity to be neuro-widespread. There might want to be extra sacrifice, because i trust rehab might want to be necessary which include mainstreaming socially, despite the indisputable fact that the limitations might want to be gone. i imagine each body is afraid to admit that that they had be completely lost with out the autism crutch. that that they had be thrown to the wolves. this isn't what takes position at the same time as someone has surgical procedure. They rehab slowly, in a large number of cases @ a facility with experienced execs who specialise in getting the fellow again to finish-functioning power. i have been adversarial to the time period time-honored because i imagine it capacity perfection. i have come to regulate that questioning. To me, time-honored capacity being waiting to get in spite of the truth that on a daily basis existence, each and each of the sensory and social limitations and cope. it truly is all contained in the global i desire-and if meaning a treatment-i'm worried about it. i will gladly make that sacrifice. i do not imagine i'd be some variety of conformist robotic if i grow to be to be cured. that could be a disability as well. there's no wide-spread treatment. until eventually then, there are treatments. attending to understand to triumph over the social and sensory limitations is replacing oneself. A treatment can be a change...for the further helpful. i'm hoping I helped answer your question.

yes, likely mercury in vaccines was a major factor but there are other vaccine components. Aluminum appears to be another factor. As much disinformation and blatant lying about this exists you can do some reasearch on your own and contact a biomedical doctor to assist in detox. Reversal is possible. www.putchildrenfirst.org is a good place to start. Free videos at www.autismmedia.org various topics.

The first diagnosis was around 1943, but it WAS around before that! It just wasn’t named.
There was an abandoned boy born around 1900 that my great-grandmother took in. From everything I hear about him (hand wringing, no eye-contact, almost robotic voice, fixed watches), I highly suspect he had Asperger’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if both of my uncles were Asperger’s. One was born in 1932 & the other 1928.
In 1887 England, Dr. Landon Down—after whom the chromosomal condition Down syndrome was named—described the "self-contained and self-absorbed" child who was not "entertained other than in his own dream-land, and by automatic movements of his fingers or rhythmical movements of his body."
About one in 300 Americans were in mental asylums in the mid-20th century, and case reports show that a good portion of them could be called autistic, if diagnosed today.
- Doodlestuff - According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-III) prior to 1994, a person with Asperger's syndrome was not considered to be autistic. The label "Asperger's syndrome" wasn't even in the English vocabulary until 1981 Lorna Wing published a series of case studies of children showing similar symptoms, which she called "Asperger’s Syndrome".

I too would be very interested in this answer. I only know what happened to my son who is 18. He had many signs that mercury may have been the culprit. He had a severe thirst and wanted nothing more than water from a very early age. Every night before he went to sleep he would sweat, even after a bath. He didn't sleep more than four hours a night until he was about 12 and now he is up to six. He yawns a lot too! He has suffered for years with constipation, ear infections and sensitivlites to many drugs. I was given so many prescriptions for antibiotics when he was little I didn't always get them filled. I would throw them in the glove compartment like they were parking tickets.;) Anyway.....There are many similarities and as far as I am concerned if it walks and talks like a duck....must be a duck. I just want to fix this mess if I can but some of our medical community won't address the possibility that the problem is mercury. So when they could be helping our kids they are busy being in denial.(money is the concern of lawsuits as you would guess...not the welfare of these kids..it is about money) As far as I am concerned the medical community opperates like cows (no pun intended!) just following one after the other. They are told not to agree...the science is not there but there are scientists that agree all around our word but there are some that just don't want to accept it.
I am scared to give my son the chelation because to me it is like giving yourself your own abortion. There are too many complications and if I did do it I would want want a specialist to help me. Of course this is not covered by insurance so don't even bother looking! My son has been through enough as it is. I don't even like giving him asprin anymore. I am going as natural and holistic as possible from here on out.
This whole tragic thing has changed the way I view things. I do my homework and I do not take one persons advice. There is a real used car salesman mentality out there that has gotten out of control. It is a run away train and no one is minding the station. You have to advocate for yourself and your family as well as your aging parents. Ask for mercury free flu vaccines and tetnus. A nurse backed me up against the wall with a shot of tetnus when I had stitches in the emergency last year. I was so angry. It has gotten so ugly people can't even talk about this topic civilized anymore. I am careful in large groups because it gets hot real quick. As a parent I am so frustrated with all the arguing, these kids are growing up and what do we do now? What is REALLY being done for them? I know no one is knocking on my door to help me other than other parents with autistic kids! This has been a uphill battle that has rocked my world. People are shocked at the numbers and I say "okay get over the shock and lets get going on curing these kids if that is possible". We missed out on early intervention and everything they have now. I am facing adult hood with my son being 18 and there seems to not be a whole lot out there for us. I want him cured, working, driving, dating, vacationing, going to college, hanging with friends, maybe married. Most of I all I want to know he can take care of himself so I can die one day. Let's get curing damn it!!!

You have bought into the mercury madness hook line & sinker. As evidenced by your other questions, it's clear you don't believe in science, otherwise you would acknowledge that there hasn't ever been a link to mercury despite HUNDREDS of studies. The only people saying there is a link are involved in litigation (Autism Omnibus) or are quack practicioners (DAN! doctors, Generation Rescue, ect). Which one are you?
