I'm a 21 yr old guy and i recently started a landscaping job where I am outside all the time. I was thinking about wearing pantyhose to keep warm on cool days and I thought they would be good to keep some dirt and other stuff off of my legs. what do you women think?

get a pair of long johns .better than tights .just in case you have an accident and have to go to hospital

make sure it is a thicker pair of pantyhose. Like compression should work. Pantyhose do get runs like crazy if they are thin and sometimes finger nails can cause runs. A better thing to do would possibly leggings, they are thicker. Or even in the mens section, thermal long johns. also sometimes called long underwear. These work really well. My husband wore them in the winter and he kept warm. My father also wears them when he is out getting wood for the fireplace. My uncle is a construction and landscaping guy and he wears them even under shorts or jeans to keep the stuff off him a little better. Good luck!

Pantyhose? No. How about long johns? Pantyhose don't keep you warm, they're not all that comfortable and, as for dirt, they don't filter it out either.

its an excellent idea mate
- i do the same when i work in the outdoors
pantyhose are better than long-johns
- they are more comfutable
try 70 denier (at leased) and opaque pantyhose
- they are warmer

I think that you are just looking for an excuse to wear pantyhose ....Haven't you heard of thermal underwear ?

Working outside in panyhoes is not a good idea. First of all they will barely keep any dirt off your legs, and second of all theyre not gonna be much help keeping you warm. A better (and less cross-dresser) bet would be long johns or leggins.

they are great for this, i go fishing, and loads of the guys there wear them, and on building sites too, why should you be cold just because you are a guy
