I could not watch but read the transcripts this morning. I have never in my life seen such a group of "leaders" with basically nothing to say, and nothing to add to the economic growth of our country. They were absolutely lost on terror and Iraq.

I was really quite surprised that they could only drum the Soros chant of hate bush and had nothing to say about Iraq except we want to quit.

How anyone with a brain could expect any of these losers to lead a nation is beyond me. They were clueless on foreign affairs and economy. Hill was spectacular with her well prepared lies.

How many of them do you think had ear pieces with someone feeding them answers and talking points?

In the debate these were mentioned
Bush - 23 times
Iraq - 25 times
Social Security - 8
Economy - 5
terror - 9

Hows that for a debate, they could have just called it in, no need to show up.

I didn't watch....Brian Williams asking the 'tough' questions..... Puleez!! I hope the Republican debate will have a "HOSTILE" questioner--maybe will learn something instead of listening to talking points all night. If we want to see what candidates are made of.....it should be mandatory that Conservatives moderate Liberals and Liberals moderate Conservatives.

A debate to me is where the candidates actually get to ask each other questions about their plans and policies. All debates, regardless if the are in the democratic or republican primaries or they are presidental debates, seem to me like they are hitting talking points about issues and not getting actually into the plans.

Do you remember the old Wendy's commercial - WHERE's THE BEEF??? If you want to lead my country, I want to know where you stand on things and not just bash the current president. This debate was a joke.

None of them had earpieces, despite your fond wish that they probably did. The cons are cracking me up this morning, you guys are so predictable. It was boring, it was a Bush bashing party, it was blah blah blah blah blah. It was the first Democratic debate, what did you expect, balloons and confetti?

Hillary kicked some serious butt last night. She was composed, had excellent answers and she walked away looking both brilliant and Presidential. I know that must really burn all your butts, but that is what happened. They answered the questions the moderator put to them (for the most part excepting Richardson and Gravel). Of course the main subject was Iraq, that's the main cause of all the divisiveness in this country - and Bush is the main problem. Did you really think it was going to be ignored?

And what exactly did Hillary lie about? I'd really like to know, especially since you leave no examples of her "lies."

That was a debate. I thought it was a game show. Who Can Lie The fastest on their feet? Or better yet, Think Fast.
Hillary and Obama all the way!
They did a good job on their feet. I don't know if they were tell the truth or not. lol
Gravel----Who is he? He scares the Sh1t out of me.
Please don't put him in the chair.

To be honest with you...I have had it with all of these *********** that are running our country regardless as to what "party" they are in.

Dems/repubs...it's all the same. They put on a pony show and behind the scenes they go drink martinis together.

NONE of the care about the citizens of this country. NONE of them will do what is best for the middle class or "common people" as they like to call us.

I will vote in 08...but I know my vote won't count...RON PAUL 2008....

They didn't need ear pieces; just good memories, as they pretty much toed the company (i.e. liberal) line on pretty much everything.
Hillary is the only one of that bunch who has any realistic shot at the White House, and that's only because she carries herself in a more "presidential" manner than the rest of them.

Obama didn't seem to know how to stay on topic.

John Edwards looked confused and lost.

Joe Biden and Mike Gravel were there simply for comedic relief.

Dennis Kucinich was there because ... he snuk in.

Bill Richardson and Chris Dodd were there because ... they must've been Kucinich's ride.

Didn't see the debate, but I did see your lies about al gore blocking the counting of absentee ballots postmarked after the election. He totally caved and said count those illegal votes.

Why do you folks have to lie all the time to make your points? This lie moves you, and the truth that katherine harris threw tens of thousands of legal black voters off the florida voting rolls just makes you happy, right comrade.

oh, yeah.

The debate wasn't that good, I have seen much better ones.

While you are entitled to your opinion, I think you are wrong about Iraq. We have nothing left to accomplish there, and the truth is we shouldn't of invaded in the first place.

The more Bush and his loyal bushies try to prolong the war, the more votes one of these "losers" is going to get in 2008.

no but u had to read between the lines
the key issue is Iraq
IT IS TIME TO GET OUT OF politics- threats in hatred one country against another
and to give the Muslims Iraq as our liberal friends say LET THE TERRORISTS HAVE THE COUNTRY-LET THEM REBUILD THEIR TERROR CELLS AND WE GET TO SEE THEM DEAD ONE PLANE AT A TIME AS THEY CRASH INTO OUR BUILDINGS.

ON THE other hand maybe Isalm needs Jesus who says to love your enemies -not the Shiite or Sunny way after the destruction of the Golden Mosque 2006 where they blew up each others mosques and dragged the religious leaders out into the streets of each others sect and murdered them -even when they threaten to kill all the Christians in Iraq-from a friend in Jesus a Jew born again after i listened to John 3 repenting of sins-Jesus is now my savior to care for all mankind and to do it kindly

the bible says to pray for our leaders all mankind too-on the other hand -that isnt silly either-but good question and well ltaken there is alot of silliness in hate and in debate especially last night

I think all of them. And how repetitive did they sound? It is like that Head On commercial

"It's time to end the war."
"It's time to end the war."
"It's time to end the war."

That is all they have had to say in the past 4 years!!
