Never if you are lucky!

At least the kiddish part that is innocent and loving, doesn't it say somewhere in the Bible "Become as children and you will enter the kingdom of God" (Hopefully I have quoted it correctly)

You need to be responsible when you get them ,but I have known so many that were not. I had three girl-friends that were killed in a car accident and all of them were 16. I think you have a lot of learning to do. There is so much you don't know at 16-18. I remember, it wasn't that long ago and boy when you get older you look back and realize so much you didn't. My friends would still be here today if they had of used better judgement. They were not stupid girls by no means, they just made some bad choices. As Far as being a Kid!! God I'm like the toys are us song: I don't wanna grow up! It would do us all good to be a Kid at Heart for Life!!

I think somebody is no longer a child when they realize that they can't just goof off all the time and they have responsibilities to take care of, and realize that when they do work, they get time for play AFTER they finish the work.

I've got my license and I still love eating sweets and watching cartoons. I don't wanna stop being a kid, being grown up is a drag. I don't like responsibility.

Generally, I think you can stop being considered a kid when you pay for all of your own expenses
however, people are still considered kids by those who are a generation or more older
I am 36 & my cousins & I are still the "kids" in the family (although we have our own kids now)

I'm 23 and people still call me kid.

I don't think it stops until you have one of your own. Then people feel weird calling you a kid because you have one.

Personally, though, I think your childhood ends when you stop wishing you could grow up and start wishing you could be young again.
