What is difference between ''advent'' and ''innovation''?

Advent means "arrival".

Innovation means "New idea"

The two words are not similar at all, in my opinion.

if you meant invent(ion) and innovation, invention has to do with something new, innovation has to do with something new in a particular application or situation. For example, creating a new fruit juice that has great taste and no calories is invention; putting it in scalloped potatoes 'for a new taste sensation' is innovation.
