No it doesn't have to be. You can just be extremely nauseous, but depending on how far along you are, you could still end up getting sick at some point.

I'm 7 weeks and from 5 weeks on I was feeling nauseous during the day, but at exactly 7 weeks I started getting sick. And boy do I hope it doesn't last long...

For most women it's not a big deal. They get sick once a day and not even every day. For some, it's a bigger deal as they get dreadfully nauseated and spend most of their days getting sick.

Good luck to you and hope you don't end up with horrible morning sickness!

Not especially. I threw up at night with my morning sickness but generally felt "unwell" for most of the day. To be honest it was a relief to be sick rather than just feel nauseous.
At least it usually only lasts for the 1st 12 weeks!
Good luck.

i never threw up once (except when I had a migraine but that had nothing to do with morning sickness) but I would get a little nausea, and would eat a few crackers then I'd be fine. Every woman is different so it all really depends!

No, i got morning sickness that included severe nausea, gagging but no throwing up and at times diarrhea. Ugh! Being nauseated is almost worse when you CANT throw up!

Depending on how strong you are, you may through up or you may just feel nauseous. Some women don't experience morning sickness at all.

Not at all. During my last pregnancy, I had morning sickness ALL day and never let it out.

No, most of my morning sickness consisted of me being queasy. Like you have an upset stomach.
