When my husband is in any social setting, he looks for the woman who will play the "eye game" with him. Looks turning into staring and flirty smiles. Is trouble on the horizon?

Trouble is here. That is sooooo disrespectful of you, and if the other woman is married, of her marriage too. He is, in effect, sizing up "prey." He might only need affirmation that he is still attractive (look up "narcissist") or he may be figuring out if he can "conquer" her (look up "sociopath"). You need to talk this over, and you will probably need the help of a therapist.

yes and no... the trouble is that he just wants a womans attention. so you might not be giving him enough attention possibly in the bedroom. mix it up a little bit and get him to look at you like that again.... remind him why he fell in love with you in the first place then he wont have wondering eyes.

make the change soon or his looks and stares might turn into something else down the road. dont say anything about it to him, just mix it up with him and see if the stares stop.

Do you tell him it bothers you when he does this? Confront it. Listen, most men like to look (hmmm...as do a lot of women, for that matter, including me,) so I don't see that as the issue. Personally, it's acceptable as long as it's not plain rude/disrespectful (ex. the "eye game" is just plain gross, imho.) Stand up and be heard...let him know what you'll tolerate, and what you won't. Good luck.

yeah i would say kind of. i mean first of all your husband shouldnt be doing that because well..HES YOUR HUSBAND. so i would kind of be on the edge but at the same time theres a fine line between "just" looks and eye contact...and cheating you. which i dont think he is unless you have had troubles in the past with trust.

He sounds insecure (needs attentions from women to affirm his attractiveness) and needy, and he apparently is more worried about how he feels than how you feel. Try setting some boundaries. This is disrespectful and reflects poorly on your relationship.

I have dated women like this, and it never worked out for me because it led to resentment on my part because I can't trust a flirty, insecure, needy woman.

face it, men ha vent evolved past the cave man days when it was OK for them to spread their seed to all the females in the group- they seem incapable of being monogamous and still want to spread it around to all females they sense are fertile.
Next time he looks, smack him silly and tell him to knock it off! Jerk!

Your husband should at least have the decency to do his flirting when he's alone, not that being alone justifies his disrespect for you.

HE SHOULDNT BE LOOKING AT NOBODY BUT YOU.... AND IF HE DOES LOOK IT SHOULD JUST BE TO ADMIRE NOT TO FLIRT..... YOU NEED TO HAVE A SERIOUS TALK WITH HIM... HE COULD CHEAT ON YOU AT ANY TIME, SOME FEMALES DONT CARE IF A MAN IS MARRY AS LONG AS HE LIKES THEM EVERYTHING IS FINE WITH THEM. SO BE IN THE LOOK OUT..
