I think you mean that India is a male dominated country. Although you might be right that they are male dominating. I don't know why, but for example, a young man at 33 is still looking forward to getting married - to a woman he has never met, but that his family has picked out for him. He is anxiously waiting to hear that her family accepts his family's proposal, and to see a photograph of her, since he is working outside India. Yeah, he pretty well IS DOMINATED, by his family, her family and then she can choose whether to marry him - he is the last one with any input.

Why do males like females - well, we were made that way so we fit together, in order to make new life. In other words: sex, procreation.

All countries are male dominated.That is law of NATURE.
Women had to bear child and for that they are incapacited for a long
time.After the birth of a child they had to tender the child.
They require male help for all these.Males are the stronger people,they are the earner of bread,they are the protector.
From early stages of civilisation we have come to this stage.
Now society do not require so much male domination and hence there is laxity.
To keep the civilisation running,to have progeny,GOD has
asked males to like females irrespective of caste,creed,
religion and ethnicity.

what are u talking about, our religion is the only religion with female gods, and we have festivals dedicated to women. india is not male dominated. we are one of the countries that have had a female prime minister, unlike USA. in upper class families women have just as much freedom as a man does. in lower class people are illiterate, so grow up to be wife beaters. dont generalize the habits of the poor to the whole population. india firmly believes in female rights, and gives them and equal status in society.

I ndia has been a male dominating country and it is still so in most rural areas.This bacause of the misbelief of men thta they are superior to women and to some extent because of women too,as they don't make them realise their equality nor they want to come out of their houses and prove themselves.
But can you say this seeing Mrs. Indira Gandhi,our ex-PM, sAROJINI nAIDU,one of the greatest freedom fighters and Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams .A ll this women are INDIANS.
