Okay, I think your chauvinism is getting out of hand. I suggest that you lay it off before someone reports you. It sucks to get your question deleted. You lose 10 points.

If I was still in school and a man offered to carry my books for me, I'd probably turn him down. I can carry my own books. Yes, even the heavy ones. I may not be as strong as a man, but I'm certainly strong enough to carry my own books. If I can't carry all my books, then I just have to figure out a way to be more efficient. As for chapters being omitted from textbooks for women, I completely disagree. These days, that's already being done to textbooks meant for the masses. A few years ago, I helped tutor my friend's son in math and the entire text book that he had was no thicker than a small notebook. There was not enough explanation for Nick to understand what he was supposed to learn. The book gave you a brief description of what you were supposed to learn, with no examples, then you were expected to be able to complete the problems with that limited information. It was extremely difficult trying to teach Nick anything. I remember when I was in school, I had incredibly thick bricks of math books. They were loaded with examples so you could learn how to do the problems without the teacher going over it. In fact, I never learned a single thing about math from an actual teacher. They didn't teach fast enough. I could read the book and know what needed to be done in minutes. In regards to other subjects, I'd actually prefer thicker textbooks as long as the text is engaging enough to capture my interest.
You know, it would probably be my guess that the classes you think women don't need are actually the ones I excelled at.

I dont think it is a good idea because the book will loose information. It will not be as useful as the books of male if this thing happens. Anyway women are not weak. They can also become as strong if not stronger than male if they really just want to. Yeah and what if the the class is about to tackle tha chapter that is missing then the girls will suffer the lost when they get home where cant share books with male if they dont have a brother...

Yes, of course they should be smaller.
Think of how much smaller the books would be if they cut out all the pages dumbing down the concepts for the guys. I mean, if they only wrote the information and left out all the pictures and needless explaining the boys need they could probably cut the pages down by at least 200 pages, without loosing any vital information.

Sure, I would have no problem with it, for a number of reasons:
-I certainly agree that women do not need to learn as much as men do, because they are smarter by nature. They don't need as much time to learn the information.
-Women's eyes are stronger than men's. In other words, we have better capabilities of reading fine print than you do.
But I don't agree on the fact that men are stronger than women. I know for a fact that I am stronger than a lot men out there, for sure. There are a crapload of women that are stronger than you, buddy. Yes, some women are weak, but that's their choice. They can choose to be strong if they want to.
But you are clearly a wimp if you think that textbooks are heavy.

You are at once a sweet gentleman and a sexist jerk. How interesting. You state that women don't need to learn as much as men. I can only assume that you mean it's because the women you know are already intellectually superior. And because "men" are much stronger than "women" you should have no problem whatsoever toting both sets of books.

I don't really think its necessary. I see no reason why a woman would need to carry around large textbooks. A woman's place is in the home taking care of her husband and children. If there is something she needs to learn about she can ask her husband, or her husband can bring the book home for her.

As someone who went to school and graduated from massage therapy school I believe that text books need to be made smaller in general. Backpack and overly heavy text books are starting people off on the road to back problems really early.

The only information really needed in these books is how to look pretty, how to cook and how not to make a fool of yourself trying to say clever things! This information could be condensed in to one small volume. It would also remove the risk of us developing muscles and callouses from carrying such weighty tomes.Indeed you are a very considerate man,in fact,an ideal husband!

For once, I am scratching my head in disbelief, Sandy.
What you are suggesting is women are not as intelligent as men and therefore should have their books cut down so as not to overwhelm their "dainty" little intellects? That just does not compute!
Just carry this one step further. Two young people are working towards their Masters degree, a male and a female. Are you advocating the female get less education than the male because she gets "doctored" texts? Does this also effect the hideously high costs of university texts? It is not so cut n dried as you might think.
I must also add, my girl, a strong athletic very feminine person, is probably much more fit than most of her male classmates. She has been gifted with a scholarship for her Master's in a "traditional male field".... that of computer maths and sciences, and is more fit than all her "nerd" male friends. Are you suggesting she receive a lower quality education because the books she gets to work from contain fewer scientific formulae or philosophical ponderings because she "does not need to learn as much as guys"?
Yanno, most of your questions I "get" where you are coming from whether I laugh or not, but this one, my dear, is truly foolish.
Not all girls have or WANT a boy to carry their books. No guy could keep up with my girl's schedule, and as you know, such a concept as carrying books would be impossible just the way universities and colleges are set up. Are you also suggesting girls not receive high educations? You are short changing the human race this way.
The only thing that is of concern here is that a woman be able to have a career that allows her to take time off, or work part time, whatever, while the children need her. And there is where Islam is by far superior to other religions in its ruling. I know many young Islamic women who are in university working towards professional careers.
When they are choosing their career, they choose one that will allow them to do just that. Take time off or be able to "keep your feet wet" whilst raising them then returning to work when they no longer need you at home full time. Once I watched a group of highly professional Muslimahs advising a young woman who wanted to become a surgeon. Several of they were doctors themselves.
By the time she had listened to them all, she was considering Banking or Optometry because they are respectable, professional, and she could keep up with her career without damage to her family. Muslims usually marry young so that the mother is in her early 20's, the best time decreed by nature for such things. This method works very well to ensure strong families AND intelligent women. So there is a solution to the family situation.
But please, do not insult women's intelligence. THAT is where I draw the line. And yes, my dear, that is a serious slap to women! Do you not realize CENSORSHIP is just not a good idea. We get enough of it in the media and in our lives, we certainly do not need it in yet another form. Being "dumbed down" is truly an idiotic suggestion.
Now, back to the drawing board kiddo and rethink that very foolish suggestion, ok?
By the way, ladies, women are not "smarter by nature". The IQ level is fairly balanced between the sexes. However, SOME topics are heavily challenging to BOTH sexes. It is impossible to already "know" the more traditionally "male" subjects such as the sciences and maths, without a lot of work, regardless of sex. These are not instinctual or "Oh I already know that" kind of topics. They are equal opportunity intellect challenges. The only reason males had a headway in the past in these topics was sexism, but women are now proving to be just as capable as men, given equal education and preferance during the school years.

Well, generally speaking, women enjoy reading more than guys do so it should be the other way around. As long as she has a guy to carry her books she will be okay.
