Obviously the democrats got elected to the majority by the American people.

In my opinion they should deny Bush the money. Period.

He can tell the troops to come home, there's no money because the people of America and their elected minions no longer support my war.

The GOPs in the Senate and Congress can explain to their constituents that they support Bush and his war in Iraq and hope they will express that support by re-electing them in 2008.

It is unpatriotic to ever support Bush. There is enough suspicious evidence to put the 2004 election into question and the 2000 election was stolen outright by a right wing coup. I doubt very seriously Bush was EVER elected by a majority of the American people. We should deny Bush money, support, and credibility and stand up to this administration and pResident.

Bush is the only elected official elected by all of the people. Congressman and Senators are elected from constituencies from just their state. In other words Bush is the only popular leader elected on a nationwide vote. That is why the Constitution gives the President the veto power to over ride congress when necessary. The majority of Americans do not support defunding our troops.

The question is moot. The people dont vote on this issue. The Dems dont have enough votes to override a veto at this point. The president is still the commander in Chief until Congress overrides a veto. Heaven help us when any President is no longer the Commander in Chief. We will have changed out Constitution then.

I wonder if it crossed your mind that by withholding funds, congress is abandoning (yet again) "The People" who are out fighting (like I did) in Iraq so most Americans could sit on their couches- without fear of a terrorist attack- and get fatter while complaining about how little they have.

Support the military. They are, after all, your husbands, wives, sons, and daughters. They are doing what they can to make sure there are Americans in the future.

People influenced by a lying cheating liberal media (CNN, AP, BBC etc) are now realizing just how bad they F'd up. Again, though costly, it's better to have the war over there than here in the US. But the ostriches refuse to remove their heads from the sand.
