Australia will win the WORLD CUP 2007. No doubt. There are many reasons.
This is a professional team. Indian Team is the team of models. This is like getting a govt. job. You play well under Australian National Team or quit. Australian National Team has no place for the models.

Australia will win the World Cup. Gilchrist is due for a good innings, so if he fires and does well (as usual) with the gloves, he would most likely get MOTM. But it will most likely go to Ponting or Hayden

I think Sri Lanka will win. The mind of the team if free, and they are not overawed by any team or name. I think from Sri Lanka Sangakara, and Jayasurya will star among the batsmen, and Muralitharan and Fernando ( he has now to prove himself!) among the bowlers.
As for Australia, I think Ponting will play a stellar role, and Bracken and Hogg will be hard to tackle.

as every one knows aussies have a good pace attack...
under good conditions the best man who can play fast bowling in the SL team is Sangakkara....
jayasuriya has a mojor role to play in the finals..
