My favorites are HIM, lacuna coil, nightwish, marilyn manson, SOAD, disturbed, bleeding through, slipknot etc.. Just wanted to see if there are actually people out there who DON'T listen to that rap crap.. and seeing if there's any bands that I don't know about yet, or polling to see who likes what! I listen to a wide variety of music. While I do really like some bands like Slipknot and Rammstein, I also listen to things like From First To Last and t.A.T.u.
I don't think people should deny what they like, sticking to just one genre - chances are you'll like more then one. Personally, the only rap artist I've ever been able to listen to and enjoy is DMX.
My guilty pleasure is Avril Lavigne. I think of her as a pop artist (so, you know, I'm not one of those people calling her punk), but I really like her songs.
Listen to what you enjoy, don't tie yourself down.

Yeah Baby! I been blasting my ears & melting numerous hi-fi speakers since i was like 12! Hardcore Punk is my fave.....bands like Sick of it All; Minor Threat; Rise Against; the list is endless........but yeah, anything except (c) rap...PLEEZE!!!

but i love stuff like BTF, Blinded Black, 30 Seconds to Mars, Atreyu, Silverstein, Alexisonfire.
