whenever i open any site, say orkut, i get pop-up windows showing nudity, in Intrnet Exporer, but not in Mozilla Firefox. Why is it so?
I have Quick heal Antivirus, Quick heal Firewall and Norton Anti-spyware installed and updated, but still i get such pop-ups, sometimes showing ads and sometmes nude pictures. Please help me to get rid of this problem.

1. You get these sleazy popups coz you are infected with adware.

2. FireFox is considered a safer browser. This may be the reason you don't get the popups. If you are using IE5 or IE6, you may not have a popup blocker. Another reason why you see it on IE and not on FireFox.

Here is how you can get rid of the adware.

1. Download Ad Aware SE Personal, You can search with those kewyords on www.download.com and you will be able to find it.

2. Install and run Ad Aware. Remove whatever is listed as adware.

3. This should solve your problem. If it doesn't, then download and install Spybot Search & Destory. Again download it from www.download.com. Repeat step 2 with spybot.

THis must be some adware that has got installed. Remove all the Downloaded Program files. If you use IE go to Tools -->Internet Options --> Tempory internet Files Settings --> View Objects. Then see if any items are there in the list. Remove from there. Too bad i got this same problem 5 months ago. If you have norton turn on you computer in safe mood, disconnect all internet connections, run norton. If this isn't help you. Got one last shot. go to bitdefender.com. Very good online scanner. This is where i solved my problem. cause i hadn't norton.
