I have been waiting for my prescription to be sent to me, I was due for it on the 25th, how long can I still go for it for

What injection are you talking about? Depo?
If its due on the 25th, they usually have a 5-7 day period before you will need to take a pregnancy test before having the shot injected into you. Or at least that is how it was with me and my depo shots.
Also, I'd reconsider depo if you are taking it. There are horrible side affects, check the reviews below.

I was always told by my Doctor that if I missed an injection I needed to use condoms until I was able to have the next one and then for 7 days after the next injection.

Used condoms in the mean time, but go to the clinic asap.
