I recently perforated my ear drum (not infection related), and since then it feels like i have fluid in that ear. the feeling subsides when I tilt my head towards the problem ear but no fluid comes out. I have been careful not to get any water in there when showering. Is it part of the healing process? Any suggestions?

A perforated eardrum is a hollow or rupture contained in the eardrum, a skinny membrane that separates the ear canal and the middle ear. The medical time period for eardrum is tympanic membrane. the middle ear is acceptable to the nostril by the eustachian tube, which equalizes rigidity contained in the middle ear. A perforated eardrum is often followed by decreased listening to and espresso discharge. soreness is in a large number of cases no longer continual.

I had a PLT, Pulmonary Lung Test and did both ear drums. Really thought that was it, my hearing would be damaged for life. However after a few months all returned to normal, but I am never going to have another PLT! Give it time and stick with it, but do not panic.
