Absolutely, there is no doubt what so ever that the Earth will end. Whether it's by our own destruction, a meteorite destroying us or eventually and completely assured and destined is by the aging dying sun! Although the sun is half way through it's life cycle it will eventually die out.....or run out of it's fuel Hydrogen.

When the sun dies the Earth will along with it....it's up to us as a civilization to continue our species throughout our universe. Whether we can or will do this is yet to be determined.

Four causes for the world ending - or life being exterminated are:

comets that are considered global killers, usually 1 mile+ in width, these exist but they're unlikely as space is too big and it's a lot safer than it was 4 billion years ago.

Nuclear war - likely. Especially the way bush is going, we're likely to see one in the next 15 years. The goverment has a plan for this by taking the best people from all areas of the country, doctors, scientists, teachers. then food and water for 20-30 years if that was ever the case, but who would like to survive in a world like that. everything would be waste ground and just not worth going on.

Virus/disease - an epidemic of disease, just like the bubonic plague(black death) that killed nearly half the people of western Europe in the Middle Ages, we too have the fear of such an epidemic in the near future.

Climate change - global warming, it's been warned that within 20 years we'll reach the point of no return and it's downhill from there. Millions of species have are dying each year because the temperature has risen by one degree in certain parts of the world. If I had to put my money on one of the four causes of our extinction, it'd be this. Just think in 30 years we will see all the fat cats of the corporation world sitting around in prayer mode saying we didnt know! oh god help us!

For all these people buying stocks in the oil companys I ask what good is having an extra few bucks if 20 years from now the world will be screwed up for the rest of us, and even you and your childrens children

Yes there is a posibility. If humans will continue cutting of the trees. As we know that trees or plants take carbon-dioxide and give out oxygen,so if there will be no trees then only carbon-dioxide will be there in the atmosphere along with other gasses but the oxygen will be finished. So ultimately the no living thing will exist.
There is one more posibility if the regular cutting of trees will be there then ultimately the coolness of the earth will decrease and the snow on the mountains will melt and there will be a lot of water on land in which the land will sink.

It's inevitable. Woe onto me! The end is nigh! (in 4 billion years). But not to worry, humans will be safely extinct by then, and I imagine that the only things still alive on the hostile Earth just before destruction will be bacteria and single cell organisms.
As the saying goes "And the first shall be last".

It's going to happen as the sun becomes a big red gaint, in about 5 billion years. But till that day if the humans will exist they will find a spare planet to live in.

Yes... If man does not destroy the earth, then we can survive for little long. Finally one day sun will collapse and we are gone much before that....
