Just wondering if it's true because someone told me that once. I am not really sure about that so I am asking? If it's not then what does it mean? I thought that was odd.

No. As I look down at the wedding band, engagement ring, and anniversary ring on my RIGHT hand, I am still totally and happily married - and have been for almost 18 years! My husband is from Eastern Europe, and it's their tradition to wear it on the right hand, so he asked me if I would do so, and I have.
A divorced woman would not be wearing her wedding band any longer. A spouse who has had a husband or wife die may still wear the rings on their usual hand, or choose to not wear them.

totally false. a divorced person essentially does not wear the wedding band at all. widowers tend to continue wearing the wedding ring on the left hand until they decide to remarry and only then wear it on the right hand for memory sake. in the end it does depend on you however. if you feel comfortable wearing your wedding ring at all, do it.

No of course not.
If you are divorced you do not wear a wedding band period.
In my religion married couples wear their wedding band on their right hand because based on tradition that is the one that touches the heart.

In the olden days, it meant that you were a widow. However, in Spain for instance, the wedding ring is normally worn on the right hand.

doubt so... if you are divorce and doesnt even hang on to the marriage, you shouldnt even be wearing the wedding band at all. the wedding band should be kept away or thrown away.

I thought it meant that a person was widowed and starting to move on? But I guess a divorced person could do the same thing. It could make sense.
